About Pi

Pi is Philly-based drag performer, makeup artist, plushie maker, and costume designer. They are best known for making pieces inspired by childhood whimsy/nightmares to uniquely bridge the gap between camp and horror. In their costumes, they enjoy distorting the human form using poly-fil, creating grotesquely adorable creatures that you'd expect to see in a Whoville haunted house. 

Pi believes drag is the ultimate art-form due to the infinite blending of creativity, skill mastery, and business. They've been doing drag since 2016 and are primarily self-taught. In 2022 they released their first batch of handmade plushies, firmly planting the seed that has now grown into Planet Pi.

In 2024, Pi starred on The Boulet Brothers' Dragula Season 6, where they placed 5th overall. Prior to this appearance, Pi has had costume creations shown on Rupaul's Drag Race, The Boulet Brothers' Dragula, and Camp Wannakiki. Additional work includes MUA for Mannequin Pussy's "Perfect" music video, opener emcee/performer for Chappel Roan (twice), co-founder of Philly's nightlife competition Snatcherella 3000, and Makeup Designer for Alice in Wonderland: A Panto Musical (People's Light).
